Fretboard Atlas is a small, hand-curated reading list. This page explains what data it collects and why.

What we collect

  • Account information. If you sign in, we store your email address and an authentication token through Supabase. We use this only to recognize you on return visits and to attach the entries you bookmark.
  • Bookmarks. The entries you save are stored against your account so we can show them on your saved page.
  • Donations. If you tip the curator, Stripe handles the payment. We never see your card details. Stripe's privacy terms apply.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which entries are useful. GA may set cookies and collect a coarse IP-based location. We do not sell or share this data.
  • Logs. The hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs for a short window for security and reliability.

What we don't collect

No newsletter scraping, no behavioral profiles, no ad networks, no tracking pixels beyond GA4. There are no third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can delete your account by writing to the contact below; we will remove your email, bookmarks, and account record. You can block GA4 by using any standard tracking blocker (uBlock Origin, Brave, Firefox's strict mode, etc.) and the site will work normally.
